Just a quick wiring question,

Does the ECU ground the pin for the main fan when the temperature reaches the set point or does it actualy feed power out of the ECU.

AND..... Regardless of how the feed comes/goes from this pin, is it powering a solenoid?

The ECU will ground the pin, this is meant to run a relay which has the other side of the coil to ign 12v....its a low current circuit meant only to trigger a relay.
