As the name suggests i am after a EA81 Aftermarket higher current ALT? There is apparently one that has very close to the same chasing but up around 100 Amps intead of the 55 of a standard. Yes i do have a second battery and various current draws, etc. :P
Thanks
Matt

I have read that an early Nissan Maxima requires very little modification to fit on an EA82.

Yes I think Coxy got one out of an early Maxima SOHC/bank VG30 powered car at a you pull it wrecker . It hasn't gone on yet but it looked very easy when we trial fitted it to an L at the same wrecker .
I don't think his one is 100 amp more like 70 which is plenty for most early cars . I wouldn't lose sleep if I couldn't geat a 100a alternator .
You could look into 90s era Nissan imports because Skylines like mine normally have 80a + output alternators on them and its enough to feed the 101 electric do dats it has in it .
I think I have a couple of Spider Vortex alternators kicking around but they are more like 60/65a ones I think .
A .

I dont know if this will be helpful but try searching "the sunfoil project" on youtube seeing as you already have two batteries and you just want more charge
