What are the models with an EA81 that have electronic dizzies as standard? Does anyone have a spare that they are willing to sell? Any info about these would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry Tim, it was only later EA81's, 1984ish onwards I believe.

Carby EA82 dizzy's can be modded to fit fairly easily.

So I guess that it is only the Brumbies that had them, judging by the years.

I think I still have the dizzy I replaced in my Brumby. The upper bush has been chewed out, but everything else is fine. You can probably retrofit the shaft and module into your dizzy. Or even probably press out the upper bush from yours for use in this one.

If you have access to a lathe you can machine a new bush, but you will need to use oilite material (sintered bronze) I only had LG bronze when I HAD to repair the original bush, and only got about 8 weeks out of the replacement bush.

If I can find it, it's yours for the postage or pick up in Adelaide.
