Liberty Headlight Assembly

Post by Casper_juz » Wed Nov 17, 2010 9:53 pm

Hi, have a 2005 2.5 Liberty. Have been reading about Headlight Clip issues and so forth.

My righthand side headlight assembly needs to be replaced - Subaru has quoted $800 + $150 - $200 for labour (1 hours work).

Does anybody know where you can get either OE or replacement parts for these in oz.

Cheers,

$200 bucks for an hour's work? jeez! My local mechanic is a subi specialist and only charges $90 an hour.

At $800 bucks for a standard replacement you might as well just buy projectors and HID upgrade and fit them yourself for close to the same amount!
The Green Machine is up for sale :(. Lifted, bars, exhausts... View Gumtree ad

gee... i still cannot believe how Subaru still has high prices..

There is several people who would be able to help ya, Mordy Auto Salvage in Moorabbin, Subaru Parts in Highett, (SubaBits in Clayton - unlikely will be able to help)..

But these first two will be able to help i hope!
Cheers
