can it be done?

mine is rooted. Retarding the timing and being a general pain in the arse.

can i earth it out? or put some voltage into it to trick it into giving a normal reading?

I will know when my motor is knocking so its sort of just a dumb thing in my eyes.

i know im being a tight arse ahah.

ps. whoever it was that pmd me about getting one, i cleared my pm inbox and cant remember who it was!? whoops. Please pm me again.

thanks boys.

A capacitor in its place should do the trick

I'll have a look in the FSM to work out a suitable rating

Get another one from wreckers? or buy one off ebay for about $50-70 bucks.

Im sure that one I said you could have is still at Pauls workshop, it came off my ej20 and looked brand new

as Paul if it is still about it was on his tool trolley the last time I saw it (not this tour last tour)
