how do you mean genuine?

you can get phillips kits for like 450, or narvas for like 800.

Or yoou can get the cheap kits, for like 100-150ish which ive had in all my cars for the past 4 years with no issues apart from one globe blowing.

I got a set for a pretty good price from this place. Got to deal with a real person on the phone who was incredibly knowledgeable about the products.

I put the cheapest 55w hid kit I could find on ebay (about $50) in my spotties 2 years ago and have never had a problem. Worth every penny!

the ones i mean arent genuine are on ebay for like 2 dollars pph and without reading all the fine print im sile looking past it.i was thinking 50-100 off ebay not 800$ ones
does each kit work on a single globe or can one kit run the 2 head lights??
this is for my project car not the subaru

1 kit will run usually 2 globes (2 ballasts and 2 globes and some wires)

So it depends on the car, If you have H4 hi/low bulbs you will need a hi/low kit which will cost more or the hid will be only on low beam.

Or if your car has seperate bulbs for high and low like mine you will need 2 kits, 1 for high and 1 for low.

Ive bought a few HIDs on ebay in the past 3 years now, they were - H4 Hi & Lows (don't bother getting HID low beam and xenon full beam - its even worse than HIDs!!!!) H3s & H1s etc..

Currently in my Liberty I'm running on 55watt HIDs and they're the best and I paid $65 on ebay about 2-3 months ago, worth spending, before that I had 35watt for 2 yrs without problems, never looked back.

I reckon the ones your looking at on ebay but read it carefully what your paying.
