hi all , im just doing the wiring for my ej22 into brumby conversion ,my donor car is a liberty automatic ,im using my manual brumby box ,,my question is can i just cut the auto computer out of my harness ? do i need any of this ? any help would be greatly appeciated ,,,thanks khanacross

I'd recommend you have someone cut down the harness to remove all the unecessary items off it.. I'm not sure who does it over your way but I can recommend Dave (aka Subarino) for the job. I know Dave is busy at the moment with his wedding but send him a PM and he'll let you know :)

thanks rsr ,ive done most of the harness im just not sure about the auto computer ,,anyone help me out ? i presume i can cut it out ,,but advice from someone will reasure me would be great ,,,thanks

This is Vague Info, soz in advance. I wanted to do this, but since I have the Auto, I havent entirely looked into it, But I 'think' I 'remember' that its one wire into the ECU, that denotes Auto or manual. I 'think' its powered for auto, and you can cut it out for manual I 'think'. I Dont blame you for not cutting on that advice, sorry buddy. check some of the pinouts I sent you, and If i didnt, I will. Cheers Mate, RohanM

you will need to short out the inhibitor switch at the gearbox if you are using the liberty starter wiring.
