Looks like its the red wire that you are after

I've since updated my five year old drawing that is found in the above link from FROG:
Just make sure the source of the power for the on dash switch is something that turns on and off with the *IGNITION* - otherwise you'll have to turn the dash switch off when ever you turn the lights off or you'll be driving around with your driving lights on without the standard lights being on...
Hope that makes some sense.
Cheers

Pretty sure I used the red wire, but found it at the back of the headlight, rather than in the stalk.
Are these Lightforce 240s you've put on? Where are the pics?

my gen 1's wiring didn't match the workshop manual... so I pulled the headlight switch out and probed for the highbeam from there, then followed it into the harness connector, and then the colour was consistent from there... I think L one was green and R one was red... either way, I spliced the switch in from before the harness and it works fine.
A tip bennie gave me, make sure your fuse is as close to the battery as possible. The harness that came with my Roo Lites had the fuse right next to the relay. I'm adding an additional fuse in when I transfer the wiring accross to Libby.
How are you mounting them without a bullbar?
Cheers,
Owen.

I realised yesterday that I was wrong, you need to source the dash switch power from the ignition as per the diagram...

I know that feeling! Got a long list of things to do before we leave for SA tonight... Bloody work - can't live with it (all the time), can't live without it (for a great period of time).
Fun fun.
Cheers
