Hi Guys,
Ok I am putting an EJ 22 in my 85 RX Turbo L series Sedan.
Now I have the EJ 22 loom sorted but am having some trouble finding a wiring diagram for the EA82T.
I need to find the following wires in the EA 82T Loom ( Engine or Dash)
Charge Light
Oil Light
Temp Gauge
Tacho Signal
Speed Sensor signal
I can trace them out with the multi meter if I have to but thought I would try and save some time as I am in a rush ..
Any help would be great.

There's a diagram here for the Alternator wiring to make the charge light work. The other engine warning lights I ran from the standard loom, it was just easy doing it this way.
Here's the link.

Also your RX will be a three plug ECU so that speed sensor wire might not be in the same spot or in the same wire colour configuration

Its not essential for the running of the EJ, its just a reference for the EJ's ECU to do something with that information...

From the 86 WSM Fuel Injection System Chapter .
Hard to describe but the shape of the engine loom to body loom plugs (car loom side) is 1) two notches at top and 2) one square notch in its top .
Plug 1) - pin (1) or lowest LHS - YG - Meter (Coolant thermo switch) .
Plug 1) - pin (12) or highest RHS YB - Meter (Oil pressure SW) .
Cheers A .

Ther speed sensor is needed by the ECU. It uses it to tell the ECU when you are lowing down so it can vary from driving to idle map etc. Without it you may face issues with rough idle and worse still engine stalling when you pull up at lights etc. Some of the earlier 8 bit ECU's didn't seem to care to much but the laters did. It will also give you an annoying fault code.
steptoe, thanks for the info, found it.
