hi there. ive got a 88 EA82 leone royale (carb) . i keep maintenance up very regularly
i change plugs yearly,change oil every 5000 km etc. over the last two months im getting a miss which lasts for about 15/20 sec and then you wont hear from it for a month or so? there dosint seam to a patten ether. the first time was at high way speed the next was at round town speeds (60/70)
today was entering a round about at low speeds. ive checked the leads,coil,rotor,dizzy cap. i havent checked the distributor coz i dont know enuff about it..... and i dont want to cock it up. eny in put wood be appreciated. thank you

you could check the timing, if unlucky and with the worst possible combination of factors your dizzy may have twisted one way or the other without noticing.

well in that general area.the control unit under the cap seems to be faulty. ive changed it and ive got a little more spark in me life. big thanks:mrgreen:
