L cluster wire plug knowlege

Looking for some detailed knowledge of the actual wiring at the tacho dash cluster plugs of the L series. Not sure if the diagram makes much sense here.. Of the white round 12 pin plug behind tacho I have two Black/white trace wires that could be pin 6 and 7. These two connect when the plug is in place. One is from fuse 12 supplying power to the cluster and the other I suspect supplies power TO something once plug is connected.
Both these wires have a shorting earth connection somewhere blowing fuse 12. I am gonna flick both wires out of the loom plug, supply power from the back of fuse 12 to one pin (handy having spare wire plugs etc) and leave the other BW wire disconnected hoping it will not cause much grief when I finally get car running started again.
Was wondering of those who have done EJ conversion or dash swap to get a tacho dash etc would know where the other BW wire goes to? The wiring diagram may show lines intersecting in the diagram, possibly this is a convenient junction?
Gotta have some respect for Fuji electrical guys as these pins change location and even plug depending on what dash or RHD or LHD, not just extra pins used for extra dash options!
