As you all know by now, the lighting on my Subie has changed many times. Well, today at a family function a relative backed into my car and cracked a section of grill that subsequently made my light mount unacceptably shaky.

Back to the drawing board and I pulled out the light bar I had tested out on the front of the bumper a while back. This time I mounted it further up so it doesn't protrude so far forward with a couple of steel backing plates and am very pleased with the results.

Some of you may recall the bar is for a 91 or so Jeep Cherokee that I had to bend slightly to fit the curve of the bumper. It has two additional outward light tabs that can be used for top or bottom mounting.

Overall, very solid setup with good light position. :7:

And yes, the lift kit will be installed very soon...

Sorry to hijack the thread... on that snorkel you have there, have you tried turning the vent to forward position to get forced airflow into the engine - have you tried it? What are the results?

Would be interested to see lift kit being installed, have you thought about getting nudge bar for the lights to fit on instead of the bar - nudge bar would be more solid/less vibrations?
Cheers
