convert MY coil location from RHS to LHS

With my intended swap into my Brumby of EA82T I am aware that the ignition coil needs to be shifted from RHS strut tower to LHS strut tower as the dizzy will then be close by on the EA82. Would not want to risk a coil lead reach from its original position, that would be asking for trouble IF you could get one that long.

Also looks good option to shift battery from RHS to LHS as well

So, I am curious as to what others have done in the past in the EA82 into MY conversion in regards to coil.

I was thinking of setting up some insulated terminals at original location and running new wire to new location. The old location being the terminating point for all coil wires and just one wire each for pos and neg to run to new coil

Or have others just extended and rerouted wires across.

I'd appreciate your comment and share any blunders you have encountered trying this little task

222 reads in 4.5 years and still no suggestion ?? Have since found others just ran a longer lead and not move the coil at all. I'll get around to fitting that engine one day !

It would be better to extend the primary wires than have a long secondary cable.

You should only need a new Ignition 12 volt feed to the coil positive.

But is that what really held up his conversion for this amount of time???

Yes, I'm being "that guy" :p
