On the 4 headlight models what lights should be ON for low beam and high beam?

on my quad light Brumby it is the outers that have three terminals each, so run the low beam and also switch to high beam. The inners are two terminals and are only for high beam. Someone previously put in quartz halogens and one inner has wrong config and is insulated differently to the other initially causing high beam on in all lights whenever lights were on. Gotta say the two previous owners were police officers and niether noticed the problem !!

You got a problem??? The circuits can be confusing to work out if something not right

Yeah, low beam is okay, but all are off on high beam.

I dont have the car with me. My son is driving it home from QLD to WA and he asked for advice.

Check to see if all the relays on the DS shock tower are plugged in. As a matter or course check the fuses under dash and the fusable links.

that sounds like it could be in the combination switch. Wonder if a good auto elec somewhere could oblige to shove in a sep high beam switch to cater for the emergency if this was the case?

thanks for the help. It was the combo switch and a replacement from the wreckers in Ballina fixed it.
