WANT '97 Outback Foggy(s) & part #'s

Post by L-BJ » Sat Nov 29, 2008 4:55 pm

Guess i'd post this ere' b/c of the issues w/ the classified section some people are having (incl me).

After drivers side (or both if they're a good price) fog lights for a MY98/97 Outback AND are newer models (2000/01) interchangeable? PLUS are any of the other Imprezza models w/ foggies (RX / WRX / etc) interchangeable w/ the Outbacks?

PLUS need parts # for front stabaliser bar bush kit (again MY98 Outback, SUPER PRO / NOLATHANE / ORIG FACTORY RUBBER ones / anything)

Cheers,
A2

Check out the South Oz page - specifically the Goolwa 22nd Nov thread, that should give you some idea, somewhere near page 7-8 would be specific to that question ;) :D

Slow. I'm currently working on my EJ wiring. Plan is that once the EJ is in I'll then have all the wiring I need in the L for the electric windows, all I'll need then is some time to do it, door by door ;)

Cheers

78sti, I'll take them (or just the drivers side if your willing to part) if anyone knows (definitely) if they'll fit the MY98/97 front bar, any ideas?

But, I now realise that i might just need the plastic lens cover, but can't work out how to get the cracked one off (make a huge diff - over $200 new from Subaru for single complete light, to $30 for the lens)... again any ideas other than hammer and screwdriver?

Here is a photo of the fog lights, I think the lens is different to the older ones.

They both look the same so they are not left and right hand.

one has the plastic cover thing missing.

you can have for $50 + postage.

Thanks for the pics 78sti, they are a diff electrical connection, but if I keep getting f#$@ed around by the spare parts / wreckers down here I'll buy yours off you and just get them re-wired. Will let you know either way Monday next week if that's ok, if you've got another buyer then don't let me hold you up.
Cheers,

Heya AplineRaven (AP) forgot to get back to you bout Outbacks being wrecked, couldn't find any places like Centre Rd (BYO tools, work on car yourself) but there are a number of 2000/01 Outbacks being wrecked by places like Cranbourne wreckers (others escape me but will post up a list later tonight), catch is prices are astro-f*rkn-nomical for most things (bout 75% of the Subaru new prices for some stuff i was after) but there out there! Nothing on eBay either :(
