spotlights

hi i was talking to somone the otherday about spotlights for my brumby and they said somthing about these new spot lights that are gas charged or sumfin (not really sure what they are called) but they are ment to be crazy with upto a 2km beam i was just wondering if anyone has herd of these or know who makes them

are they simmlar to air craft lights
can get em for cars convert power to 2000V and draw 20mA

yep hid, they'r enot really new, just expensive, narva make the cheapest

there's plenty of "cheap" upgrade kits around for spots and headlights (usually chinese made of course), but I won't vouch for their quality. many are not ADR compliant either. There are limits to whats acceptable so you don't fry the retinas off the poor sod driving the other way.
if you want reliable off the shelf spots go the Narvas

Buy halogen and convert them with a kit. Best value in my opinion.
