The fuel outle in the tank is completely blocked. Tried shoving wire down it to unblock it to no avail. Decided to use the fuel tank from one of my other Brumbies. Set it up just sitting in the tray and we now have fuel to the carby.

But it still won't run :(

Which I'm not surprised about - I drained the fuel I out of the tank in the car and it is brown like dirty river water and it stinks - almost like ammonia it gets up your nose that bad.

I'd say the carburettor has internal corrosion buildup from water in fuel etc.

Time for carb strip and rebuild.

I was going to suggest cleaning out the old fuel and replacing it with new stuff!

I'd definately use good fuel and this just more credence to it having a blocked carby.

Does Universal's have a spare one you could try? even if it's off an earlier model.
