MY ignition barrell replacement contacts

Post by SUBIIE » Tue Jan 22, 2008 11:43 am

Hey guys,

the old brumby is having real trouble starting through the key barrel ignition.

The auto electrician said it is the contacts inside the barrell, so ipulled it off, but it isnt obvious to me which bit i should replace.

Im assuming it is the round section that screws off the back that the plug connects to?

can someone help me out.

Where do i get the new part from?

you assumed right

just a side note: last time I replaced this bit it fixed my problem for a day or so. The real problem was a corroding fusible link - the red one
