It will bolt in - but it won't plug in. The plugs are different

Wiring in a tacho dash into a DL is not fun but can be done.

As Fang said - the plugs are different. One of them should be the same in size and (guessing) the wiring as it is for the centre light panel (4wd lights etc) and the other will be for all the other stuff (indicators, gauges and taco). You may have to run two new wires to the coil as well. Check out the tech manual and see if there's anything in there. Other wise someone here who has done it will have more info. (i changed a whole loom and got a taco plus MPFI)

Hope this helps some

Cheers

I think the two centre indicator panel plugs (doors, 4WD, Lo etc) are different. There are also two round plugs that plug in for fuel, lighting etc. We had to swap the wiring between these four plugs. Bennie is right - you do need to run a lead to the coil.

To get mine installed we used the plugs from a tacho model wiring loom and spliced into my DL one.

Looks good Alex - but I go for more original looks myself. This is mine before the F/T Centre went in.
