ignition splicing ej to l

Post by stamp_licker » Sat Oct 28, 2006 11:05 pm

what colour wire on the ignition do you splice into for power start and run to power up pin d12[yellow wire] on the ej ecu.the wire i've connected is the black but i seem to be getting low voltage in off at d12 and higher when in run and start.also the fuel pump wire [black red]has voltage in off and cuts off in start run is this the norm?the heavy yellow wire from the relays i've connected straight to the battery via a fuse.

if i unplug the yellow wire[power in start and run]from the ecu, tcu,,alt ,fuse from ign there is still power present at all the unplugged points.alright if i disconnect the constant power the low voltage dissappears.when i reconnect the constant power the low voltage doesn't return until the ignition is placed into run and then the low voltage stays.Should this be the case.i don't want to fry anything.
