There are lots of places to find wiring diagrams : ( google search is a good as any place to start )

https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=9 ... 68&dpr=1.1

& if you can get hold of a workshop manual, it will aslo have one. Can do a search for them as well ...

https://www.google.com/search?q=subaru+ ... client=img

As far as I know, the distributor has always been a weak link in the system, I would get it checked out for wear & tear - replace if necessary ... ;)

Cheers, Bantum ...

I have found a copy of a Gregorys Manual #501 2wd & 4wd 1979-1994 Subaru Manual in .pdf format.
It says that is covers Sedan - Wagon - Coupe Oct 79 - 1994, Utility 1982 - 94. 1600 OHV - 1800 OHV - 1800 OHC except EFI & Turbo models.

The one I looked at was the 3rd link down under EA81.

P.S. Came across some posts by El Freddo on the USMB website too.

Hmmm… I can’t remember posting about factory wiring diagrams on the USMB :mmm:

Those Gregory manuals give you a basic idea of what’s going on. You might not be able to find an exact layout of the model year of your brumby. They should give you a general idea though.

Hopefully the links provided by Subyroo prove to be useful.

As for the driving cut out issue it could be a carb issue of some sort or an emissions gear issue with the vacuum hoses and diaphragms associated with it.

Cheers

Bennie
