Subaru Brumby tacho query

Post by wildBRUMBY » Mon Jun 01, 2020 1:54 pm

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum. I'm in Victoria and I own a 1990 Subaru Brumby, My pride and joy.
I am wanting to install a tacho in the cluster where the clock is. I'm looking for some guidance and information on what is the best tacho to use, things i should look out for, problems that can occur etc. I'm wondering what best way to mount it in the cluster is and make it look somewhat original if possible.
Any help and guidance would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

Welcome Liam!

This is totally doable and is documented here by Phizinza on his forum (now closed to further posting due to issues with spammers etc).

Here’s a couple of pics:

Other alternative is to do a full dash swap if you can get your hands onto one of these sick puppies:

All the best with it!
