Liberty GX 94 immobiliser

Post by paulareno » Fri Apr 16, 2010 4:35 pm

I just got a liberty from eBay but it didn't come with the original Subaru key and im not sure if it has an immobilizer or not, do Subaru come with a factory immobilizer?

If it does can i completely disable it as i have a immobilizer i would like to install.

Regards, Paul

Not sure which Gen your liberty is (bec in 1994 there was Gen 1 and 2 Liberty on same year)
Anyway, no it doesn't have it, as it would be installed aftermarket - they only had alarm with remote as an option from Subaru but they were very poor.
