Gda-b Radiators = Rubbish

Ok, just a quick FYI since some members here have GDA-B Impreza’s
The factory top tanks(plastic) seem to enjoy blowing the top seals out resulting in a annoying and costly exercise. Most shops will repair the units but offer warranty on the new top tank but not the new seal in it. I was also told by a honest repairer that they are shagged and no longer usable after around 100k.
I was also told by someone who I later assumed must be smoking crack as that he thinks that Subaru purposely design them like that so that they make money suppling new ones.
Long story short
2 best options from heaps of research lead me to;
Aftermarket Natrad to suit GDA-B (auto model,... there cheaper? NFI y?)$400 +- depending who you know
PWR 1664 55MM Full Alloy Unit $900 +- again depending on who you know.
These are your best options by far as I have looked into JDM products etc and have seen no benefit only greater costs. I have been told by people that run these cores and have used them for long amounts of time that they are fine and work well.
Ps. For the love of Christ no one invest in a cheap alloy one from ebay and forum group byes as I have also been told horror storeys, ur better off going back to a stock factory one!
Cheers
