The saga with Ruby Scoo continues...

Now that exams are over and that i have some time on my hands it was time to play with the temporary engine after finding cracked heads on the engine that will replace the temporary one.

The temp engine had a problem with the left hand bank, but ran on the right hand bank (of car). So the idea was to pull the head off to see if it could be used for the good engine and replace it with the cracked one... Head came off, found that someone put gasket gunk on the head gasket resulting in a badly blown headgasket... i've replaced it and the car is going stronger than before, but now the right hand bank has given up the ghost.

I'm guessing that the other head gasket has gone too, there was exhaust gas coming through the radiator which confirmed the theory of the right hand head gasket gone...

Gotta wait to order a new head gasket tomorrow as i found out the problem after business closed for today.
