ej22 box to ej20TT

Post by Radeon » Mon Jul 03, 2006 8:07 pm

Could someone please tell me if the ej22 dual range manual box would stand up to being used on the ej20 twin turbo engine?
Help would be great. You can contact me [email protected] or just reply.
Thanks.

EJ20T + EJ22 dual range box

If you are nice to it it will last, if you hammer it it will die a quick death..

you will also have to have a custom heavier cable clutch made, or modify a hydraulic unit to fit.

Dual Range

I have one behind my EJ20t aswell. Got a 2500lb Jim Berry Clutch and it feels like a normal car. No dramas with handling the power, just don't do huge launches as the dual range gears are only small. Otherwise it will be fine.
