L series ignition leads

Post by subius » Mon Dec 01, 2014 8:03 pm

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any experience with ignition leads for an 89 carby EA82 L series?

I am looking for confirmation on the bosch super sport part number. The catalog has 3 potential kit numbers as far as I can see.

B4273i
B4074i
B4738i

Has anyone fitted any of these before? Or does anyone have any recommendations for other brands, kit part numbers, or prices?

Cheers
Sam

Hey Sam, I use and endorse :) Eagle Performances Eliminator Series - black with gold print on them

E84189 used on my GLTA, box says for Leone, RX, Vortex Turbo EA82 85 - 89.

I had to get them to custom make a longer pair of leads for the spider manifold on the Vortex.

Correct name is Eagle Products Corporation PTY LTD in the 043 std area ...

Thanks Jonno,

I'll see if I can hunt some down. Where do you buy them from?

ah, dunno, might havew to check their website or call them for local distributor who would likely have to order them in. I just reckon it is worth waiting for their quality. If you measure current leads up from end of metal terminal to end of metal terminal they can make to measure.
Box does not say carb, just Leone ! and the mpfi stuff.

I just ended up getting a set of top gun leads from Autobarn for $35. They're for the bush basher at the shack which only gets used a couple of times a year so i'm not that fussed.
