EA 81 motor into Subaru wagon?

Post by scoobymine » Sun Oct 21, 2012 8:23 pm

Hi all,
I have been asked if you can fit an EA81 Brumby motor (89) into a Subaru wagon 92. As i'm not sure, i'll ask the experts.

Thanks Guys

Yes you can, there are some small differences, but it will bolt directly to the gearbox. (You need the flywheel clutch etc to suit the gearbox)

92 Subaru wagon.. is it the L Series or the Liberty model?

If L Series then like Jules (Toonga) said, you'll need flywheel, complete clutch setup and all associated parts attached to the EA81.

If the Liberty then forget it!! way too much work :(
