Where is transaxle oil filler

for my 00 Auto outback.
Found the drain plug but where the heck is the filler hole.
Please anyone !

you will have one on either side of the auto transmission on the drivers side (right) is the transaxle oil (short stick honey coloured oil) on the passenger side (left) is the transmission oil (long stick red coloured oil).
Don't mix the two as catastrophic failure can be the result.
sorry forgot to add the oil goes in via the dipstick tube

Thanks Toonga. I couldn't see it cause a massive wiring loom was in the road.
Phew now I will be able to do an oil change.

if your changing the tranie fluid dont forget the filter under the left hand guard liner bout $15 from burson or the like

Only slightly off topic, wheres the dipstick for a '98 forester gearbox...if it has one. I'v looked & looked but buggered if i can see it!

I had the same issue. Remove the part of your air filter box the same way as you remove your air filter, then look straight down and you will be able to see it. I couldn't find mine at first because the yellow dipstick was covered in grease
