L Series: is there anything I should be greasing/lubricating?

Post by fishboy » Sun Oct 09, 2011 2:17 pm

Besides various door hinges, latches, and foot pedals, there doesn't seem to be anything much in the workshop manual about what/where to grease on an L Series (1991). Do cars like this not require grease/lube anywhere to keep them running smoothly??

You can buy greasable tie rod ends. Tail shaft uni's are not greaseable from factory (from the ones i've seen anyway), but replacement uni's probably are. Thats about all i can think of.

There's not one grease nipple on my L series - and I've been over my car enough to know!

So you're in the clear. Just keep the coolant and oil where it needs to be and you'll be sweet!
