Is it even humanly possibly to fit a TURBO to the ej22 motor? Some out there say it is not a good idea siteing many reason why not, while others say they have tried or have been successful fitting one any takers on this idea!

yes you can but by the time you have spent all the money and gone through all the hassles, it would be better to get an EJ20g half cut and transplant that in to your car.

Or find a turbo EJ22 engine/block and computer and go from there ...

Got the details for an example of one that's been done and has been working reliably for an extended period? Doubt it :)
Swap in an EJ20turbo motor. It's easier, better, cheaper.

They are a good starting point but need money spent on them for strong rods & pistons etc . Have a read here : http://www.rslibertyclub.org/forums/sho ... hp?t=70837

The USA Gen1 Legacy's had a factory EJ22 with a turbo but without an intercooler. Dont ask me why they opted against an intercooler, but the turbo plumbing was very similar to the 1988 on (spider intake manifold) Vortex turbo's.
