EA82 manual & auto spigot/pilot bearings ???

Post by vhr32 » Wed May 18, 2011 10:55 am

I have a reco engine (was auto) to go in my L Series (manual) and I had a quick look and the spigot bearing which came with the clutch is not going to fit in the back of the auto crankshaft.

Does anyone know if auto and manual cranks are different or whether there is a bush I have to remove first before installing the new spigot bearing?

the spigot bearing goes in the flywheel on a manual the auto uses a flexplate which has no need of a spigot bearing

Excellent, thanks!
