EA82T Oil feed and return lines

Can those in the know please detail where on the #1/3 N/A Cyl Head I drill a hole for the oil feed line to turbo and what size and type of tapped fittings are required. Also after same info for oil return from turbo which I think goes into the oil pan.

+ Can I use N/A MPFI cams or should these be reground to suit turbo characteristics?

Reground is $750 by tiege.
N/A will be fine mate.
You can use any type of fitting you want
depending on how you will feed the oil.
Stock hardlines or hose?
The oil goes back into the head.

J.. I'm sure that cams would have a different grind. Most forced inductions do, I don't have the details but I'm sure they should be on the web or Possum Motorsport may have some info. As for the oil feed and returns, I'd be able to help you out in a week (with pics) but from memory, the oil drain pipe is in the head too. Why are you using NA heads and not Turbo ones?

Turbo heads may have cracked and replacement NA mpfi heads will do the job, only factory spec the exhaust valves were longer , after market replacement valves are same, turbo or not according to ExtremeRX who has dropped off this forum a lot in last few years.

Oil feed can be done as in turbo conversions Ive done on Diesel 'Cruisers using T piece from oil pressure switch to turbo with braided line instead of drilling head. Oil drain is to head just near the oil outlet to the turbo feed, or spike the sumps side and do that to drain back. To do oil feed from back of head you will want to know what fitting you can get for banjo fitting M10 1.25 from memory is factory

Thank for all your input thus far guys.

1) Was suggested by mate to use DASH fittings for oil and cooling lines with stainless braided hose. So looking at appropriate fittings for this.

2) Using N/A heads as H-top kindly supplied a pair with free cracks + I have a complete N/A MPFI engine due for recond. I have scored turbo engine pipes + turbo for a song.

3) I have info from 87 WSM (Yes prob the same version as what Disco refers to) detailing cam in/ex profiles. The turbo cams are I think wider duration. But for keeping costs down just wanted to know if N/A or even Carb N/A cams would be ok. Or will I just be missing out on some ponys by doing this.

Either way when the time comes I will explain to whoever works the block and heads what I intend to achieve. Again thanks for your input so far.
