How much should I offer, to someone parting out a wrecked wrx gearbox, for the 4.11 crown wheel and accompanying pinion shaft? It's an MY94 5sp manual and being parted out.

I have no idea and don't want to offend the seller with a stupidly low offer, nor get ripped off.

I had someone offer me a 4.44 CWP which was 300kms old for $100. I missed the PM by 1 day and it was already sold to someone else
