Was just wondering what lsd's u can bolt up to a brumby and is there any modifacation needed as ive got a mate with a wrecked wrx well its hes brothers just gotta wait n see if i can buy parts off him so just wanna know what stuff off a wrx i could use to my advantage before he scraps the whole car

If it's just a WRX it'll have open front & center with a viscous rear.

Ok cool thanks for that but just say i was to stumble across an lsd is tjere much modifacations are needed doing to bolt it to a brumby ute

if you can find a early model LSD (with male stubs) with the same ratio as your gear box no modifications. if you get a later model with female stubs you will need to change a few things. you will need the cv shafts and a modified tail shaft as the flanges (where the drive shaft bolts up) are different or you change the flange (just make sure you change the front seal on the diff if you do this) hope this helps.

remember your front and rear diffs must be the same ratio or something will break.

If its an early model WRX, you should be able to open up both your and his rear diffs and swap the centres while keeping your crown wheel and male stubs.
