You can do anything, whether it accomplishes anything better is worth noting.

EA81? 4 speed D/R trans?

ea81, rear wheel drive, 4 speed, want a really strong heavy clutch as ill be drifting this ute, so what do you rekon ? what suspension should i run for drifting you rekon ??

A cage to stiffen up the body rigidity. An EJ and a 5 speed!

Then you'll have a good drifter IMO. The 4 speed probably won't hold for long in my opinion, not for long anyway!

lol serious? probably the most unsuitable vehicle possible for drifting, but I still love it

I'd say get some new springs for the front stiff as possible, some new shocks for the rear (stiff as possible) and I think you might be able to fit a coilover style shock to the rear which has a spring around the shock - this might be a custom job but should be doable. Just gotta get the suspension really stiff and reduce roll as much as possible. Adjust the torsion bar down low.
Probably chuck a few sandbags in the tray too (or something you can secure down) - get some weight back there.
For drifting you are probably going to need a rear handbrake setup - probably the easiest way to do this would be to rig up a hydraulic handbrake to operate the rear drums with a handbrake lever. I think you can get kits on Ebay for this.
With hardly any engine power available you'd probably need to leave the little 13" tyres on to be able to spin them. In that case just pump them up nice and solid so they don't come off the rims. Otherwise really you'd need at least 14s and something as low profile as possible, but I think you'd have trouble with lack of engine power.

Otherwise all I can say is get out there and make sure you have a mate with a video camera!

The only thing a ea81 will drift on is wet grass?

Cheapest way of making a brumby rwd drifter that I can think of would be a dunniedoor v6 & 5 speed. If you did all the work yourslef it could be done for less than a grand?

As said above stiffen up the suspension with coilovers ect!

But why?

haha i know it wont have enough power YET ! but plans are high torque cam, big carby, head work, brass button clutch and me behind the wheel

haha atm its box stock just with a high flow exhaust and i can drift this beast reallly goood, and the clutch in it is absolutley gone, slips from 1000 rpm upwards every gear, so its losing most of its power through the clutch so on, i rekon its gonna be a lil goer, dont neeed alot of power for the track ill be drifting just need approx that much ^^ with the 13s on the back to get it happening, as for the hand brake thats exactly what i was going to do

great minds think alike hahaa, would i be able to get any adj coilevers to throw in it or will specific ones only fit and im also getting a LSD

hahah got to love it, only a brassall local can dream of a brumby going sideways around the corners. good on you for trying something different, keen to see it around the streets as it would be something I couldn't dream of my stock brumby doing
