Hi everyone!
I need to remove and replace the auto trannie for my 2wd gen 1 liberty gx. can anyone give me a few pointers like: is it easiet to drop the trannie out the bottom or pull the engine as well, are there things that need to be removed in a set sequence?
A quick how to would be great

There is a lot of treads in here..
since its fwd its lot easier than AWD models, its your choice with right equipment, if you have a crane you could pull the engine out altogether or drop the gearbox with a platform jack.
Timing for both - is pretty much close depends how mechanically minded you are.
For me... I can pull out a transmission from under the car in 45 mins with caution (for AWD models).
Cheers
