Has anyone got any pictures or info on mounting a radiator above the engine in a Brumby please? I want to move the radiator from its traditional location to avoid water, stone and branch damage. The vehicle has a 3 inch lift so there is plenty of room. Intention is to fit a buck-shee impreza scoop to the bonnet for air flow and mount rad fans to help draw air through. Engine is a stock EA-81 with weber but original air-box adapted to fit.

Hmmm that is a big bit of cooling aparatus. Was hoping to use the stock radiator or similar in size and mount it further back on the spare wheel area perhaps using the spare wheel bracket that goes between the 2 strut towers. There was a blue hatch I remember seeing on the net somewhere which I think had something similar.

Certainly do-able but you'd either have to modify the filler neck on the MY radiator or use another rad altogether.
You might want to rethink the spare wheel-well as there won't be a lot of airflow in there. The air will need to flow down around the gearbox between the firewall and the engine, .

Yeah, I think getting sufficient airflow will be tricky. I see you fitted an uprated water pump to cope with mounting your rad in the back. What would be your estimate on the maximum hose length the stock EA81 pump could cope with?

You would be wise to use an electric water pump if moving the radiator anywhere from it's stock location.

this is out of the way - note on roll bar (no room due to the ER27 sitting there) - running stock ER27 WP too
