the brumby currently has an ea82t which runs fine but i don't know the history and i would just like one less thing to worry about going wrong (the turbo that is)
i wonder if any one would consider helping me put a new motor in in exchange for the ea82t?

There was a few guys in Mudgee that were into Subarus. I bought a gearbox off a guy on a hobby farm south of Canberra a few years ago and he had heaps of stuff - Brumbys , MY wagon and coupe doors ,bits, and L Series stuff , RX box, manuals all over the shop. Two car trailers later it was all gone - to Mudgee. Might need to sniff around the region and see if they can help.
