Whats a decent price for a mech to do this?

Hi All.
My L Series engine and gearbox mounts are absolutely buggered and they need to be replaced.
Unfortunately I don't have time or tools to do it myself at the moment.
Can anyone tell me what a reasonable price for a mechanic would be so I have a base to start on when I ring around so I don't get ripped off.
I don't think the actual mounts themselves are very expensive, it would be more labour right?
Thanks

I paid $55 each for EJ engine mounts a little while back. I think aftermarket EA82 ones were closer to $90-100. Shop around, get the parts yourself, then take it to a mechanic and offer him cash. Two hours whould be enough for that job. Make it easier for them by cleaning the car before you take it in.
If you get a quote that seems high, ask what's involved in the job - it shouldn't be necessary to lift the engine right out or drop any fluids.

Any good mechanic will only take under 1 hour it's not a hard job to do
Put the word out on the forum someone might do it for you for a slab if you pay for parts

Thanks for that.
Might give Steve from Rising sun a call and see if he can do it (he is only around 20 mins from me)

If you have the parts and want a mechanic to do it for you they will do it, it varies mechanic to mechanics, i know the one down the road from here charges $87 per hour... - Would take about half hour to do it if its experienced mechanic and knows what to do.
Cheers
