hi guys
Just wondering if any one has a list of things i may need to look at to get the proper certification for my brumby with an EA82t in it
The guy i brought it off has done a good job but what sort of things will the check when i try and get the modifications certified

FOR QUEENSLAND :- I have got one of these and it has been certified. It wasn't done by me but as far as I am aware and I will stand corrected if I'm wrong but I think you will find that:
1. The brakes from the donor car need to be fitted to the front (so an upgrade of the brumby brakes to the same brakes of the car the engine comes from or better)
2. Engine needs to have all the anti pollution gear brought with it from its original installation.
I also read recently while doing a bit of research on this that the engine must be from the same year vehicle or later, not earlier. In other words, you can't put an older engine in the car from an earlier model.
That's as much as I have read on it in Queensland.

Age , is a thought. I wonder if a 92 Brumby can take an EA82T at all? As they were 85 to 89 engines. Hope with a Brumby that bit can be overlooked. Have seen two EA82T's in std height Brumbys. Both with drum brake rear and same front discs. One had a different brake booster.I take it by certifying you mean get an engineer certificate? best to talk to them first. I can see a cat being required as even the 85 EA82T had a cat ADR code on its compliance plate, before it was even a requirement mid 86?
