No, but the thread in the block should still be there, and if it isnt, just drill and tap it out

What do you mean by 2port heads? Im not sure. All i know its a EA82 MPFI 2nd gen. Is supposed to be blown head gasket. When i got the car i just took it out and replaced it with the EJ22. I only have the "passenger" head left and Passenger side pistons, as the Driver side ones are a bit rusty now:s... Only if interested i can remove and send pics.

I think what 2 ports is refering to is the EA82 mpfi heads we got here as opposed to the single port like carby and the US style throttle body injection heads apparently did not have inlet for each cylinder just a common hole

if u look at the head it will have a port for each cylinder and the carbe one has just one port per 2 cylinder .

so, yeah, went and got a carby block, and the casting is there all & good for the knock sensor, but it doesnt have the PCV breather plate on the back of the RH side, I dont know what to do now...Does the EFI one have the breather system on the back?

That breather pipe at the back of the RHS block with its baffle plate in the bell housing is not unique just to the turbo motors, but all MPFI EA82 blocks I believe. In my thinking in using carb block with efi heads myself I figured the ID of the rocker breathers is more than enough as all new motors use much smaller breather hose ID's. Just two does alright for carby, why does mpfi need an extra? Just for the faster engine speed of the turbo ? so what is the excuse for the NA mpfi then ? As a back up I was intending to tap another breather into the steel oil filler tube. Easy to do, access or replace if one stuffs up first prototype
