There was a very limited run of these done many years ago, an auto-locker type setup. I've only ever seen one forsale ever and it was about $1000.
It's not really regarded as an option these days because nobody makes them and nobody is willing to start.

If you are keen enough and have money to burn you could consider custom fitting an R200 diff. There are ARB air-locker kits available for these. You'd need to have custom driveshafts made for this and also custom mount it.

Otherwise clutch LSD R160 is the best thing to get but these are also quite rare.

Oh also, you can just run a welded rear diff and remove one driveshaft for on-road driving and pop it in for offroading. This is fairly common practice and not too hard to do.

i know about the welded diff with a driveshaft removed but in my opinion thats just crude (sorry)
im thinking of modifying a rear diff so it has a hydrolic(spell lol) lock running of the power steering up, air requires on bourd air obviously.
i just need to get my hands on an old diff to play with

That might be for the centre diff. I'm pretty sure the rav is an awd vehicle without a low range, which if it has a centre diff lock is a bit of a waste I reckon...
