dual range questions

hello
I may have found a dual range transmission out of a 97 jdm legacy here in the usa. My question is what ratio's are they, did they come in 4.11 or 3.9. If they just came in 3.9 can it be converted to 4.11 and if so, is it easy to do. If I can get it and it is 3.9 and I wanted to convert it to 4.11 what all would I need to do and would the parts be avaliable to me here in the USA. Also what is the dual range gearing in low like. Is it what used to come in the old ea82 dual range tranny and if not can you swap in the lower geared dual range gears from a old ea82 tranny. I assume if the dual range legacy tranny is 3.9 then swapping in the low range gearing from the ea82 3.9 dual range should match up right. But if it didn't come in 4.11 so I converted it, then the low range from a ea82 3.9 wouldn't match up correct or would the low range it came with even work at all with the conversion. Also I have a 97 impreza 3.9 manual thats getting a lift and 28 inch mud terrains. Its going to have the 165 horsepower 2.5 engine swapped in it, instead of the 2.2. Will the 3.9 gearing be fine with this setup or will it be slow to accelerate and slow over all and the driveability suck or will the extra power, I think its 30 horsepower more, from the 2.5 engine offset the loss in gearing from the much larger tires, making the swap to a 4.11 tranny not needed, saving me a nice chunck of money.
Thanks in advance
