Subaru Ea82T missing on one cyl plenty of spark, compression so i took it for a 'quick look' at my mechanics who thought it could be
a Fuel Injector problem.
Rather than just handing it over for $$$ work i was thinking of just replacing the injector myself(will any efi subaru l series injector do??) or testing for some other things as well if you have any suggestions.
Help needed.

you need either a ea82t injector, they have a orange ring just below were the hose goes on, or i believe that they flow the same as a VL commodore? maybe have a talk to some injector places, where are you located?

I removed it gave it a few good whacks and put it back in and its running ok now! So it certainly was to do with the injector missing.
I'll still try to russtle up some spares just in case or find a injector cleaning place

Take it out and run some nail polish remover through it while pulsing it with a 9V battery. It may take a few goes but it will clean it.

Any tips on how to remove the injectors fully without either
a breaking the metal piping or 2 cutting the rubber hose.
There just isn't much play at all in the length of the rubber hose
