AWD Gearbox ?????

With an AWD auto gearbox , what will happen if i was to disconect the front wheels ?
Will it drive via the rear wheals with no problems?

depends on the model of the box, generally they will all put some drive to the rear if you just disconnect the front. None of them like doing it (it will break them). Even the new DCCD ones dont really like it.

So if you need to remove a broken shaft and move the car it could work. If you want to do much more than that it may work but i wouldnt risk it.

agreed with mattims - most models will drive the car somewhat but they aren't designed for it and will suffer damage. Probably best you just replace the driveshaft asap (I assume this is some kind of life threatening emergency given the number of question marks in the title of the thread!!?!??!?????!??!?!?)

non turbo - you will definately burn out your center clutches

VTD - you will maybe burn out your center clutches

dont do it!

I have a two Vw autos here , + the shifters & cables & drive shafts & starter motor , you will need a converter for the auto & am adapter plate & flex plate

fit this to your trike
