Different gauges with different probe locations and set ups likely give different readings to each others. It is the extremes you wanna know about. I have just got my Chinese aquarium units about $17 each, two different sizes of terminals as pictured above, smaller crimp body fits inside larger, solder up, drill tight fit hole to suit pick-up is planned.

supposed to be most fuel efficient at water temp of 95C? My watchdog runs 65 to 75 most times. Only time I had it screaming at me was with radiator fully carded up and trying to run at 100 to make the water leak sealing goop work - saw 109 and the steam stopped - must be two years ago now
