Yeah, just confirming this... I'm more interested as to what the later model non-LSD female stub type driveshaft stubs look like.

The ones in the photo was from 1997 Legacy GTB rear LSD diff, Ive seen the same ones from RS Liberty but unknown what year (3.545 ratio VLSD).

so isn't the early G1 Lib VLSD the same as the later VLSDs? if so wouldn't that mean you could go and buy the little adapter stubs and use any VLSD in an earlier male stub diff application?

Cant answer that question but I am pretty sure you can get them from Subaru - didnt wanna know the price.

There is a very small possibly that there is male - male CV joints designed for LSD, from memory someone told me that you only can find them from WRX but it'll be hard to find....

I have the CV shafts that suit that diff. Speaking to RTCB65 (Rick) he says I have to hope that they happen to be 22 spline or there could be some trouble. I didnt have time to pull them apart and inspect them. Fingers crossed i have the right one.
