Carby Options EA81 Coupe

Post by Rabbitoh » Sun May 18, 2008 9:09 pm

Hi all,

Have just had my Leone MY Coupe '84 engine recond'd the carby was also recond'd but is the original so it is old & tired giving me plenty of flats spots at acceleration, can someone provide some option for a better/new carby , Idon't want to change the engine I did that with my L series from EA82 to EA82T and don't want to go thru engineers reports etc again again. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Try a weber 36/36 upgrade that goes on with an adapter plate and not many mods I think.
Past rides-
1989 Brumby

Current ride-
MY06 Liberty 2.5i Sedan

Yep, quite simple to do. I think there is a pretty good write up about that in the tech manual.
