I can vouch for the brake fluid!!
In the 70's I owned a lotus powered car. I went through brake fluid and wondered why. Soon it got worse I realised that a rattle was the tell tale for a huge white cloud of smoke about to leave the exhaust.
So drove from Sunshine to Frankston to a lotus expert. He told me it was caused by brake fluid being sucked through the vacuum line (if that makes sense think a faulty diaphram) but he had to order the part that was the culprit.
Leaving Frankston I was followed by a police car (Valiant haha) all the way to South Melbourne and at every traffic lights I prayed the rattle didnt come about usually at idle. Then it came. I knew that 5 seconds later the cop car behind me would be surrounded with a white cloud. So I waited the five seconds and floored the engine then took off. The cop car was so smothered with that cloud he couldnt follow. I turned a sharp left turn and was away.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Tweety trike- EA81 (full reco 2014) 32/36 weber, SPFI manifold, 9.5:1 CR, VW auto.
Steptoe is right Adrian used it as per instructions but got caught out because he tried to drive it home after using it outside the dealership,Long story shortened it quit running and carbon got caught under the Valve seats.steptoe wrote:wait for Disco's ideas on this stuff .......
No comp no start,The heads have since been removed to clean them up which turned out to be a good thing as a couple of valves were showing wear to the extent hard chrome was worn off the valve stems.
I have used it before with no issues but keep the revs up until it has fully cleared out or you may enjoy Adrian's problems and EA82 Turbos suck when it comes to removing heads in the Vehicle,Otherwise if used correctly and you keep the revs high enough fully recommended.
